Stroud is either ninety minutes away or well worth it depending on your geography, the prettiest heritage town in NSW and home to lolly jars at Stroud Milk Bar that will delight anyone between the ages of six and eighty-six.

Ellenborough Falls, the highest single-drop waterfall in NSW, rewards the ninety-minute drive via Wingham with the kind of views that make people reconsider their life choices in the best possible way.

The Smiths Lake loop drive is thirty minutes and includes a secluded beach, remnant coastal rainforest and cafe hopping in the village.
